Baby News!

We thought we would give you an update on things. So.... the original due date will arrive this Monday!! Traci saw the doc today and he said that she is measuring big and has not progressed AT ALL :( So he suggested an ultrasound to check the babies size. The ultrasound measured her at 41 weeks and 6 days and the baby's weight at just over 9 lbs. Consequently, the doc thinks the safest route right now is to plan for a c-section because of Traci's experience with Emma's delivery. He is worried that by the time her body is ready to deliver (which right now seems a ways away) the baby will be too big to deliver and it would increase the possibility of needing to do an emergency c-section. So we made an appointment for the 17th - this coming Tuesday! He's going to be a St. Patties Day babe which is fitting as he has Irish blood from both sides of the family! Emma is getting a little more aware of "baby brother" and as she was in the room watching the monitor of the ultrasound today, she said "look Mama, baby brother is so cute!" She is going to be a great big sister!

Congrats you guys! Good luck with everything. Clayton and I will need to make a trek down south to see your little (or big since it is already 9lbs!) one.
