Traci and I spent this past weekend apart as I attended an Advocacy Summit in Washington DC. It was not fun to be away from Traci and Emma, especially when Traci is only three weeks away from from her due date. However; we did survive. Here are some pics from my trip:

A couple of shots of the Jefferson Memorial.

Lincoln Memorial.

The Washington Monument from the World War II Memorial.

A couple of my classmates also enjoy photography, so we spent a good amount of time taking pictures around the city.

Another pic of the Washington Memorial from the World War II Memorial.
Also, Emma has been cracking us up lately with some of the things that she's been saying and doing. Her latest favorite thing to do is sit in front of the mirror - she's becoming a real girly-girl. She checks her outfit out after she gets dressed and also pretends to do her hair with Traci's hair-dryer and put on her make-up.
Her latest response to us telling her no is "Ahh, come on".
My favorite new habit of hers is when she gives us each a huge hug before we put her to bed at night, and thanks us "so much" for all the things that we did with her that day. I'm really surprised at how many things she is able to remember and list off.
Till next time...

Awe, come on... that is so cute! It's fun watching Eden pretend to get herself ready too and she has also recently taken an interest into checking herself out in the mirror. Hopefully we can get together sometime soon to let these girls play and do each others hair. ;-) Cool pictures by the way.
