Thank you so much for all your thoughts and prayers for Emma. She has fully recovered and is back to her good-old happy self:

Now that Emma has recovered we have been keeping ourselves busy with various activities over the past couple of weeks.
Traci found an old dresser at a home around the corner from our house and decided to fix it up for Emma (notice who's doing the "fixing" :)

I think we'll end up paining it white and leave the last couple of drawers out so that we can slide a basket or two in for her toys. In anticipation for the new addition to Emma's room, Traci also spent some time redesigning and adding some additional touches. Maybe she'll tell you all about it on her blog.

Emma also enjoyed her first bike ride with her boyfriend/valentine Austin:

She laughed the majority of the ride and had fun hanging out with a sleeping Austin, that was until she scratched his face and drew blood - that woke him up pretty quickly. Needless to say, their romantic bike ride together pretty much went downhill from there on out.

This past weekend our ward held a priesthood camp-out up in the mountains just east of us which my buddy and I decided to attend at the last minute. We left Medford for the "45 minute" drive around 9pm Friday night and ended up wandering into the campsite around 1am. Let's just say that what happened between the time we left and the time we arrived involved a lot of driving in circles; getting our vehicle stuck in some pretty deep powder; and a lot of wandering around aimlessly in the snow. It was actually quite fun, believe it or not. It was a full moon (or pretty close to it) and it wasn't terribly cold. The rest of the weekend involved sledding, snow-mobiling, and a lot of good fun.

Well, I think that's it for now. Let us know how you all are doing and what you've been up to lately.

Till next time...

Wife's tell husbands about said project and husbands do physical labor on the project. Is it supposed to be different???

I've totally refinished a dresser and am here to reassure you that it's not easy task! It took me months... but I also worked on it a bit, then stopped and came back to do more weeks later. But now we enjoy it in our bedroom and I'm glad I did it. I hope Traci posts about Emma's room remodel!!

oh, and so happy she's up to her old self! She's DARLING!

Emma is so stinkin cute. She should hook up with my nephew if it doesn't work out with her boyfriend. Tracy, good luck on your project. I let Travis go to town on stuff like that. He loves to fix things up. I just cheer him on and enjoy it when he's done.
