This one's for you Shona ...

It's been way too long since we last posted anything. I think the reason being because not much has happened... and we're lazy. Let's see if we can update you on what's happened over the past few weeks...
First of all, we were able to attend a Chicago concert which was pretty cool. I must admit, I hadn't heard much of their music before and didn't know much about them except that they are really famous. The put on a really good show - you can see that they've been doing it for years. I kind of felt sorry for the poor guy who opened for them. He's just a local guy who owns a music store in town and isn't that talented. It was probably the greatest moment of his life, but unfortunately it was one of the lowest of ours. However, it did look like he had fun "working the crowd" - poor guy :)
A couple days later Traci and Emma left for Utah to attend Traci's uncle's wedding along with Jim and Debi. They were gone for a good five days; but for further details of their trip, check out Traci's blog "I am the Luckiest" . That, of course meant a lot of golf for me! I almost played too much... well, not actually, but I did play a lot.
Other than that, we've spent quite a lot of time online trying to figure out how we can watch the Rugby World Cup which just started this week. We kind of figured it out and have been able to watch a few games.

Unfortunately we missed the South Africa - Samoa game :( fortunately, I know we killed 'em :)

Emma is growing up pretty fast. She's pulling herself into a standing position all by herself and is in the process of cutting her fourth tooth. It's amazing how fast she's learning new things like clapping, cheesy laughs, and dancing with her mom :)
Well, I think that's it for now.
Till next time ...

I am extremelly jealous you went to a Chicago concert. I can't believe you hadn't heard much of thier music before, they used to be my favorite band and are still up there with my favs. Hey, we are coming your way October 4-8 and were wondering how close you live to Seattle. We might be able to come a day early and stay a day later, so if you live anywhere close to there and aren't busy those days we would love to get together

She is so cute. She is growing up soooo fast! IT sounds like you kept yourself busy while Tracie was away. I am jealous too that you guys got to go to that concert. That would have been alot of fun. We need to get together soon! Love you guys!
