What a way to end a week!

We were a little more adventurous than last week. We actually got out of the house and spent sometime outdoors enjoying some of the really good weather that we've been having.

Our week began with FHE on the driving range along with Mom & Dad and a couple of friends. Dad was teaching our good friends Jenna and Emily to golf. Jenna learned that she doesn't quite have the golf etiquette down yet, when she yelled "HOLY COW!" and a number of other things in celebration of a great shot. Golf may not be her style!

Then we already shared with you that the 13th was Emma's Hap Bir. She has improved daily since then with her sitting skills and now prefers sitting and standing. Laying down was soooo last month! :)

Saturday was a busy one as we started out early to attend Jenna and Emily's graduation from Southern Oregon University. Way to go guys!

Then Emma's Papa babysat her while Mark and I went golfing. We haven't played a round of golf together for ages so it was nice to surprise Mark for Fathers Day by telling him that I had arranged 18 holes on his favorite course. (It's actually the course he works at so we played free with a cart, NICE!)

The weather was great and I was finally able to get some much needed sun (maybe a little too much). We hope to make it a monthly event with the help of Nana and Papa's babysitting skills, of course.
We ended our week in celebration of our Dads! Mark's first real Fathers Day was eventful when he wore his Fathers Day Lei to church and was complemented twice on his nice "necklace". We love him a lot and are blessed to have him as the dad in our home. We went to the folks place for some good eats and a couple of rounds of arm and leg wrestling - Sorry for kicking your behind at arm wrestling Jenna ( my mom even beat you!- and we've got proof), and I am also proud to say that I was undefeated at Indian Leg Wrestling. :)

Well to end this blog I think it's appropriate that we acknowledge our dads. Thanks for always being good role models and for always being there for us. We love you guys!

Till next time...

I love this blog. Thank you for proving that Jenna isn't that strong when an old lady can beat her. This week with Emma has been especially fun since we've been able to see her almost everyday. She and Papa had some nice bonding time yesterday. That was his best Father's Day gift.
