Roma!

I took the night train down to Rome this past Friday night and spent the weekend sightseeing. Out of all the cities that I wanted to see in Europe, Rome is right at the top of my list. I was able to see most of the main sights around the city, and also spent some time in Vatican City. I went through the Vatican Museum and saw the Sistine chapel among other things. The highlight of my trip however was St. Peter's Basilica.

Here are some pics from the weekend:
St. Peter's Basilica:
The Colosseum:
The Vatican Museum:
The Pantheon:

I was so amazed when I visited Rome how small it really is. You can sight-see the whole thing in a day by foot! Nice pics. The Sistine Chapel was pretty awe-inspiring. The coliseum kind of made me wish they had some gladiators that could come out and spar for a good show too!

Hey Mark,

This is Jonny (from BYUH). Just wanted to say Hi, and that I am super jealous of your internship.
We sure miss hanging out with you guys. Hopefully our paths cross again soon, and hopefully it is in Geneva or Rome.
