Life in Utah Thus Far

e been in Utah for almost 2 months now and have finally started to settle in (although we still have some unpacked boxes to get to). For those of you who don't know, we are living on campus and feel extremely blessed to be here. We love our apartment and it's location. We have a large open grassy area right in front that leads to a playground which Emma can't get enough of. 
Last weekend we were lucky enough to get tickets for the Sunday morning session of General Conference. It was the first time that I had been, so it was quite an experience! After the session we spent some time walking around Temple Square and took a look at the Tabernacle and of course the Temple.
The Provo area is beautiful this time of year! The other day we took a drive up into the Provo Canyon, up to Sundance to take a look at the Fall leaves. I'm really looking forward to when the snow begins to fall. Up until now, we've had really warm, sunny days, but the weather is beginning to turn. It threatened to snow this weekend, but we only got a really light dusting last night. Another highlight of our time here in Provo so far has been the BYU football games. We decided to get season passes, so we have been able to attend almost all of the home games. BYU has a pretty good team this year and is on quite a winning streak (the nations current longest) and so the games have been exciting to watch. Yesterday was this year's homecoming game, and of course we won :)

Sounds like the life down there! Beautiful surroundings, on-campus life again, playground for Emma, football games.....what more could you want?! Good luck in school Mark, you'll do great!
It's too bad we moved out of Utah just as you guys get there. I got your messages about sending stuff to Chase and to Rachael. Is it too late to mail anything to you?
Dang! We were also at the homecoming game and from where your video is it looks like we werent too far from you. I wish we would've known, I'd love to see you guys. I agree with everything you said Provo is so pretty this time of year and Utah is a great place. Glad everything is going well for ya'll.
Ok so you are here and now we need to get together I seriously want to see you and now we are both so close to eachother it would be so dumb not to get together..I tried to call you guys but am assuming you got utah phone numbers now that you are here so call me or blog me back and we can set something up. We would love to have you over for Sunday dinner one week but just call me :)
It really is pretty there this time of year. Too bad you're already getting snow! Poor dears!
Okay & I am so sad we never got to visit you in Oregon. I really want to go there! Someday...

Hey it's your Medford pal here. Glad to see you are loving Utah. I have never been to Conference in the new center. That would be wonderful to do. Anyway I saw your comments on Anne's TT. Check out my blog if you want.
