start anew
I have to confess that I haven't been a very good blogger. In hopes of ridding myself of the guilt I have been carrying during my hiatus, I am bound and determined to get back in touch with the World Wide Web (but mainly just my friends and family) and return to the blogging scene. So.....here it goes.
Although we love our new space, moving just ain't what it use to be. I use to love packing and unpacking because it meant that I was going to get to organise and reorganise all of my things. And on top of that I got to redecorate a new space. Well, those days have ended I am afraid. I now seem to only get joy from watching other people organise and decorate. Even though I haven't seen an episode in a while due to our lack of T.V. , I am a confessed junkie of those reality shows that help "messy people" get their lives into order. (although I am a little afraid that Niecy Nash and her Clean House crew are going to come knocking one of these days) I hope that my love for moving hasn't gone entirely but has just taken a vacation (somewhere tropical I hope) and when it comes back I will be waiting in our box filled bedroom, bathroom, or nursery.
It might seem that I have given up but really I haven't. I am just coming to grips with my new reality which is eating, sleeping, and breathing baby. I now know that life does revolve around "the girl", and the girls name is Emma. She may be a little opinionated but dang it she is CUTE! She has been a busy girl lately with many new and exciting adventures. She has learned to grab her toes, hang out in her new jumperoo, roll her tongue, and has just had her first taste of real food (it's still up in the air whether she likes it or not). She keeps us really busy and laughing a lot. We are blessed to have her in our home. Until next time - Traci
