Should We Try This Again ...?

Now that Traci has started her own blog in order to chronicle her personal life events, we have been debating the idea of opening this one up to the rest of the family (whether you're a Spires, Eagar or Burton). In other words, open this blog up so that we can all post on one site and keep track of each other's lives. Now, here's the thing, we tried this before and it didn't quite work, hence our current reservations. So what we need from you is to know whether or not this idea interests you and if you will pledge your time to posting a brief update of your lives every so often. So if you be would so kind as to let us know your thoughts by leaving a comment on this post that would be great, (for mom and dad Spires, and the rest of you who don't know how to do that, just click on the link below this post entitled "comments"). We feel that this could really work and bring us closer together as a family especially when we all live in different corners of the world - in fact, some of us haven't even met yet!

Otherwise, life is good. I'm a little sick right now - I think it's a head cold or something - but nothing too bad. Traci's being a good nurse :) She really is amazing: An incredible mother and a caring wife, what a combination!

Emma's doing really good. We've started supplementing her with formula about a week ago and it has been like night and day. Not that she was a little terror before or anything, but she was known to get a little fussy. Now, when she's not eating she's almost constantly smiling, laughing, talking, or a strange combination of all the above. She has put on a good deal of weight which has probably been the most important outcome of her new diet. Her doctor was a little worried about her weight, or lack thereof, and so recommended we make the switch - best advice we've taken so far! What a happy little girl she is.

We are really enjoying ourselves here in Medford now that summer has finally started to kick in. We've put up some of our pictures and stuff on the wall. It's taken us a while, but this apartment is finally starting to feel like home.
